New Year For NoMCO
To celebrate our new year, we have moved our Sept. 2009 meeting from the usual second Thursday to the third Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009 and will be hosting a pot luck dinner. NoMCO will supply the meat and beverages. Please bring an appetizer, salad, or dessert. It will be held in the First Congregational Church which is located on the northwest corner of Erie and 5th Avenues in Maywood and will start at 7:00 PM.
We look forward to your joining us.
NoMCO (North Maywood, IL Community Organization) was established in 1968 with the mission statement: "Neighbors dedicated to promoting and maintaining a sense of unity and community pride". Neighbors helping each other, positioning for change, serving Maywood. We are also concerned with preserving and enhancing the historic character of Maywood, IL. Our meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at the First Congregational Church located at the Northwest corner of Fifth Ave. and Erie. Meetings start at 7:00 P.M. Members and non-members are always welcome.

Please set aside Sunday, July 12, 2009 which is the date for our next Historic House Walk and Maywood Trolley Tour. Adult cost is $15.00 per person and we meet outside of the First Congregational Church (Fifth and Erie) starting at 1:00 PM and ending at 5:00 PM.
