NoMCO (North Maywood, IL Community Organization) was established in 1968 with the mission statement:  "Neighbors dedicated to promoting and maintaining a sense of unity and community pride".  Neighbors helping each other, positioning for change, serving Maywood.  We are also concerned with preserving and enhancing the historic character of Maywood, IL.  Our meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at the First Congregational Church located at the Northwest corner of Fifth Ave. and Erie.  Meetings start at 7:00 P.M.  Members and non-members are always welcome.

Please set aside Sunday, July 12, 2009 which is the date for our next Historic House Walk and Maywood Trolley Tour.  Adult cost is $15.00 per person and we meet outside of the First Congregational Church (Fifth and Erie) starting at 1:00 PM and ending at 5:00 PM.

The House Walk Committee meets each Wednesday at the home of Jeff Schilling which is located at 802 N. 5th Ave.  The meetings start at 6:15 P.M.
